Description
White House is an early 18th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed rubble and red brick. It features a pantile roof with brick coped gables that have kneelers and gable stacks. The building has a decorated brick eaves cornice and a brick band at the first floor level, along with ashlar quoins. It is a three-bay, two-storey structure. The central doorway is now blocked and contains a small casement, while there are single two-light sliding casements on either side, all topped with brick segmental arches. Above, there are two sliding casements at the eaves. Inside, the property has chamfered beams. A date stone on the north gable is inscribed with "J.D. 1738. H.S."
