Description
A pair of houses dating to around 1830. They are built of brick with Welsh slate roofs. Bridge House is the larger of the two, with five bays. It features a central four-panelled door, with an overpainted window and small scrolled brackets supporting a small, remnant canopy. The flanking windows are sixteen-pane sashes with stuccoed surrounds featuring simulated voussoirs and keystones. Two upper windows are blind. Gable end stacks are present. The adjoining dwelling, set at a right angle to the rear, has three bays and similar detailing. Its doorcase is more ornate, with incised decoration to the architrave and moulded panelled rebates.
