Description

Elms Farmhouse is a farmhouse with a core dating to the 17th century, extended in the later 18th or early 19th century. The original part of the house is timber-framed, while the later additions are brick. It has tiled roofs throughout. The original range has a timber frame with square panels, some straight arched bracing, and brick infill. The gable end has been built out in brick. Two units are visible, with a central doorway and flanking casement windows of 2 and 3 lights, although the range may extend further behind a brick wing that projects to the front. A gable end stack is present. A parallel brick range to the rear was originally three storeys high but is now two storeys. This range features a rear doorway on one side and wide casement windows.
