Description
Newhouse Grange is a house that dates largely from the early 18th century, although part of it was refaced in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and has a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high with attics and features five bays arranged in two parallel ranges. The central entrance is a modern doorway flanked by tall windows that have cambered brick heads and wood mullioned and transomed lights. Two upper windows to the right are blind. There is a coved eaves cornice above a sill band, and an axial stack is located in the valley of the roof. The front range has three windows in the gable wall, while the windows in the rear section are of a later design.
