Description

Little Thatch is a cottage dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century. It is timber framed, likely with wattle and daub panel infill, and features a thatched roof. The building consists of two and a half units and is one and a half storeys high. The front has one bay with two-light windows and a door to the left, all under a low hipped roof. The central bay contains the main door and two-light windows, showcasing visible timber work, including two principal posts with arched braces and a wallplate. There is a blocked door and another window beyond this bay. Above, there are two dormer windows, and the cottage has gable and axial stacks. Additionally, there is a small hipped roofed addition at the back, which is also thatched.
