Description

The Boat House at Tithe Cottage is a building dating from around 1840. It is constructed of ashlar with stone dressings and features a long red clay tile roof with moulded stone coped gables. The boat house is a single storey and single bay structure. The north elevation includes a segment-headed doorcase with a returned hoodmould and a plank door, while the south elevation has a wide pointed arch, also with a returned hoodmould. Inside, there is one sawn timber king post truss. This building is included in the register for its group value only.
