Description

Four bollards located at the south-west end of Broad Walk in Buxton date from the mid-19th century and are part of Sir Joseph Paxton's design for the area. These cast-iron bollards are tapering in shape, featuring moulded bases and shaped baluster tops. The Broad Walk is characterized by a series of Victorian villas and walkways that overlook the Pavilion Gardens.
