Description
The Coach House, dating from around 1780, was formerly the Coach House of Rock House. It is constructed from coursed stone rubble with an ashlar facade and has two storeys. The front features three semi-circular windows with plain surrounds, fitted with modern wood casements, and a sill band. There is a central doorcase with moulded pilasters, a semi-circular head with a keyblock, and a modern or restored fanlight above it. Additionally, there are two former carriage doorways, each with pilasters, semi-circular heads, and keyblocks, which have been partly built up in stone and now incorporate modern casement windows. The building has moulded eaves and a hipped roof covered with old tiles.
