Description
The Nags Head Public House is an early 19th-century building located on Newbold Road. It features a facade made of stucco, designed to imitate masonry, and has a stone slate roof. The structure is two storeys high, with a slightly taller rear cross wing that connects to the main block, which has a hipped gable. The front has two windows that are casements with Gothic glazing bars and engraved lintels. At the western end, there is a door with a flat hood supported by scrolled brackets, framed by a moulded architrave. The rear of the building includes a four-light window and a single first-floor window, both with similar glazing, although some of the windows may not be original.
