Description

The Rose Garden Wall at Temple Newsam is a walled garden constructed in 1798 and later. It is made of red brick with stone coping. The decorative brickwork features raised bands and panels, as well as banded gate piers topped with shallow pyramidal caps. There are wrought-iron gates with overthrows that have scrolled decoration. The wall is located approximately 700 meters northeast of the house, and the northern wall is a heated wall from 1798.
