Description
Laburnum Cottage is a small house dating from the early 19th century. It is located on the south side of High Street, in Clifford. The front facade is constructed of ashlar magnesian limestone, while the remainder of the building is of coursed rubble. The roof is covered with stone slate eaves courses set beneath a pantile finish. The house is two storeys high, with two windows on the first floor. A two-storey outshut is located at the rear. A doorway is positioned to the left of the centre, featuring a 20th-century part-glazed door and plain overlight set beneath a flat arch. The windows are 16-pane sashes in reveals, with projecting stone sills and flat arches above. The gables have ashlar copings, and the end stacks are of limestone with bands.
