Nos 1 and 3, Towngate, are buildings from the 18th or 19th century, constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a pitched stone slate roof. They are two storeys high. The first floor features one two-light and one three-light stone mullioned casement window. On the ground floor, No 1 has a modern shop window, while No 3 has a three-light stone mullioned casement window.
