Description
Nos 59 and 61 on Sweep Lane are two terraced houses built in the early to mid 19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone, with the rear of No 61 being rendered. The houses feature a stone slate roof and have three ridge stacks, along with two additional stacks at the rear near the eaves.
The west elevation showcases a ground floor with two entrances and two three-light stone mullioned windows. On the first floor, there are two four-light stone mullioned windows, while the second floor has two six-light stone mullioned windows, although two lights are blocked on No 59. The east elevation includes an entrance and a two-light window on the ground floor, as well as a three-light window on the second floor.
