Description
The Olde House is a house with origins dating back to the early 18th century, although it has undergone extensive alterations in the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed millstone grit and features some quoins. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. The building has two storeys. To the right, there is a blocked doorway from the 18th century, while a recent central door has been added. The house has a single bay on both the left and right sides, with 5-light windows on the ground floor and 4-light windows on the first floor. All of these windows are double chamfered and have hood moulds, although one of the hood moulds has been replaced or repaired.
