Description
Lord's Mill is a disused domestic mill from the early 19th century, with later additions. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched asbestos roof. The building has three and two storeys, with the oldest part located in the center and additions at each end. The earliest section consists of four bays with three-light stone mullioned windows on the west side, although one has been altered to serve as a doorway. There is an arched opening at a low level for the mill pond. On the east side, there are four bays of former two-light stone mullioned windows, most of which have had their mullions removed. To the south, there is a single bay of later date, while to the north, there is a three-bay addition of slightly later date featuring a tapering square stone chimney and both three-light and two-light windows. Further north, there are three additional bays from the mid-19th century with single light windows, two of which are located on the west side. The east side has ground floor alterations and large later openings, along with a single storey extension on the west side.
