Description

Nos 72 and 74 on Wooldale Road are a pair of houses dating from the mid-19th century, possibly earlier. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature quoins. The stone slate roof has two ashlar stacks, one of which has been altered, and the gable copings are supported by carved kneelers. The buildings are two storeys high and have two bays with 3-light stone mullioned windows that have stepped lintels. There is a doorway located in a recent porch, and the left gable wall also has an entrance in a recent porch.
