Description

Nos 158 and 160 Ashes Lane are 18th or 19th century houses, with a structure indicated on Senior's Map of the Parish of Almondbury from 1634. They are built of hammer-dressed stone and feature a pitched stone slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high and have six 2-light stone mullioned casements on the first floor, although some intervening lights have been blocked. On the ground floor, there are two 3-light, one 2-light, and one 5-light stone mullioned casements. To the east, there is a row of three adjacent barns.
