Description

The property at 75 and 77 Town End Road, Wooldale, forms a pair of buildings within a group, dating to the late 18th century and early to mid-19th century respectively. They are constructed of hammer-dressed stone with stone slate roofs, the roof of number 77 being turned. Number 75 features quoins and gable copings with carved kneelers. The buildings are two storeys high, with central doorways; number 75 has a deep lintel over its doorway. There is a three-light window to the left and right of the doorways. Each dwelling has a single six-light stone mullioned window on the first floor.
