Description

Ivy Cottage is a large detached house that was originally a warehouse, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features quoins. The building has a stone slate roof with two ashlar stacks and stands three storeys tall with three bays. The central door is topped by a window, and there are three-light stone mullioned windows on both the left and right sides at the ground and first floors. The second floor has three two-light stone mullioned windows. To the left, there is a large, partially blocked carriage entrance with a small door adjacent to it. Additionally, there is a three-light stone mullioned window on the second floor. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing, and the left gable has modern windows.
