Description

The garden wall along the east side of Brook House garden dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with hammer-dressed stone and features a coping. At the northern end, the wall ramps upwards in four curved steps. The wall extends from Brook House to the Paper Mill Dike and continues along the south bank of the Paper Mill Dike.
