Description

The war memorial located to the south of Holy Trinity Church in Barrow upon Humber was erected in 1921 by the parishioners of Barrow and Barrow Haven, funded through public subscription. It is made of polished grey Scottish granite and features a Saxon style cross on a square base. The lower section of the base is chamfered and bears an inscription in lead along with the names of the parishioners who died in the Great War. The upper section of the cross is intricately carved with interlaced Celtic-style patterns and includes a sword.
