Description
The building is a threshing barn located approximately 120 metres east of the Church of All Saints. It dates from the late 18th century, although the left gable end was rebuilt in the 20th century. The barn is constructed of brick and has a pantile roof. It is two storeys high and consists of ten bays.
The front facing the street features a central plank door set under a segmental arch, flanked by four slit vents on the left and five on the right. The first floor has eight similar vents and three hatch doors, along with a blocked similar opening to the right. There is a stepped and cogged brick eaves cornice. The right gable has a stone coping with a shaped kneeler, while the left gable is rebuilt with brick coping.
On the right side of the barn, there are three slit vents on both the ground and first floors, as well as a diamond-shaped breather in the gable. The left side has plank doors in a recessed central section with a rendered panel above. There are adjoining ranges at the rear that are of no special interest.
