Description

The Primitive Methodist Chapel, built in 1839, is constructed of red and grey brick with a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and features two bays. On the ground floor, there are boarded doors on the right and left, each set beneath a fanlight with radial glazing. The first floor has round-headed sash windows with glazing bars and radial glazing. A central stone inscription reads 'PRIMITIVE METHODIST CHAPEL 1839'. The roof is hipped. Inside, the chapel has tiered, simply panelled pews with seating arranged axially for the Minister, all in a consistent style.
