Pair of small town houses. c.1830, altered. Red brick in Flemish bond (No.10 painted cream), with sandstone dressings and slate roof. Double-depth plan, each house single-fronted, with separate back extensions and a shared central through-lobby. Two storeys over cellars, a 5-window range, with plain frieze and moulded gutter cornice. The doorways, up 4 steps to the left and 3 steps to the right respectively (both sets of steps with nosings), have round-headed architraves with set-in Tuscan quarter-columns, plain lintels, and semicircular fanlights with convex moulded surrounds (doors and fanlights altered); the lobby doorway in the centre has a wedge lintel and board door (with added external battens). Each house has one window at ground floor and 2 above, sashed without glazing bars (except those at 1st floor of No.11, which are altered), and there is a blind window in the centre of the 1st floor (in line with the chimney stack), all these windows with raised sills and wedge lintels; cellar windows with wedge lintels, and gratings Large linear multiple-flue chimney stack at junction. Rear and INTERIORS not inspected. Forms part of an almost complete set of late Georgian lower-middle class houses in this street.
