Description

Cowan Bridge, located over Leck Beck, was likely built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a single segmental arch. The solid parapets have rounded tops. This bridge once carried the main road but has since been bypassed by a nearby 20th-century bridge.
