Description
The lychgate to St John's Churchyard, likely built in the late 19th century, features an oak frame set on a 1.3 metre sandstone plinth and is topped with a green slate roof. It has two basket-arch-braced trusses with small framing in the gables above, and ogee panels on the sides. There are two stone steps leading up to it, and the ground is paved with herringbone brick. This structure is listed for its group value.
