Description

This is an early 19th-century cottage row comprising numbers 15 to 21. Each cottage originally had one window. The buildings are constructed of brick with Marley tiled roofs and brick verges, and feature four brick chimneys. They have casement windows and dormers. The ground floor window lintels are generally of stone or stucco, although modern three-light casements and doors are set within them. Numbers 17 and 18 have flat brick arches above their openings. Window lintels on numbers 15 and 21 are partially obscured by felt. The door lintels are felt at number 15, brick at numbers 17 and 21, and stone at number 19. Numbers 17 to 21 have a single-storey, flat-roofed rear extension. Number 15 has a pitched roof near the extension, with a single-storey, mono-pitched outbuilding attached. Number 21 has a mono-pitched, single-storey extension to its south gable.
