Description

The bridge over Linn Burn, likely built in the late 18th century, is constructed from roughly-squared stone. It features a round-arched tunnel with splayed flat-coped wing walls on the south side. The flanking walls on the north side are partly fallen. This bridge holds historical significance as it was part of The Long Drag, which was built to transport lead ore from the Allendale mines to Dukesfield Smelt Mill.
