Description

The bridge over Blaeberry Cleugh, likely built in the late 18th century, is constructed from roughly-squared stone. It features a round-arched tunnel with splayed flat-coped wing walls. This bridge is included in the register for its historical significance, as it was part of The Long Drag, which was used to transport lead ore from the Allendale mines to Dukesfield Smelt Mill in Slaley parish.
