Description
1 and 2 Brewery Bank are two cottages from the late 18th century or early 19th century that are part of the Old Brewery complex on Brewery Lane. They are constructed of coursed stone and have a Welsh slate roof. The buildings form a convex two-storey range that is very irregular, with the ground floor sloping upwards to the left due to the bank's incline. The cottages feature sash windows with glazing bars and doors with four and six beaded panels. Number 2 has an oblong fanlight above a reeded cornice head. The western part of the building is of a different construction and is mostly blank, except for two openings at the basement level. The rear elevation, which faces into the Brewery yard, has larger windows.
