Description

The limekiln, located on the east side of Graham's Quarry, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of squared rubble with large unshaped blocks in the upper courses. The structure has a semicircular plan and is built into the hillside. It features three gabled and flat-topped drawing arches, which are corbelled down internally to small rectangular openings. Additionally, there is a circular pot that is partly infilled.
