Description

This fountain, located 6 metres north of Dryderdale in South Bedburn, dates from the late 19th century and is constructed from sandstone ashlar. It features a wide bowl adorned with triangular strap decorations beneath a moulded rim, which rests on a moulded pedestal. There is a small second tier with a swept rim, and the surrounding basin is designed with pulvinated moulding. The fountain is included for its group value.
