Description
Deepdale Bridge is a road bridge that likely dates from the mid-16th century. It was widened to the west, and its parapets were rebuilt in the late 18th century or early 19th century. The bridge is constructed of squared stone with tooled dressings and features arched parapet coping. It slopes upward from north to south and has a single segmental arch with a triple-stepped design on the older east face. On the west side, there are broad flanking pilasters that extend upward as pedestrian refuges, along with a band located below the parapet.
