Description

Pulborough Bridge, built in 1787 but designed in the medieval style, features a southernmost arch that was added in 1834. The bridge is constructed of ashlar and has four round-headed arches, with blunt cutwaters positioned between them that rise above the water level to form buttresses. The parapet is topped with rounded coping.
