Description

Rosepool is a house that has been rendered and painted with sand-textured paint, topped with a slate roof. It is a large, three-storey building with a six-bay front, featuring four bays on the left and two on the right. The house has corbelled nogged brick eaves, a raised band, and a string course beneath the window sills, along with a raised plinth.

On the upper floor, there are five square four-pane sash windows, with one in the center and two on each side. The first floor has five long narrow eight-pane sash windows, arranged with three to the left and two to the right, with no window in the fourth bay. The ground floor also features similar eight-pane sash windows, along with a door located in the third bay, which is sheltered by an added hipped slate-roofed porch. To the left of the door, there are two sash windows, and to the right, there are three. The entrance includes a six-panel door with four fielded panels and a three-pane overlight above it. There is a loft window in the right gable end wall.

To the right of the main house, there is a single-storey range that has similar brick eaves, containing a 20th-century window and door. An outbuilding is attached to the left of the house, constructed of rubble stone with a metal sheet roof. This outbuilding has one low-set door to the left and a large 20th-century metal door to the right.

The interior of the house has not been inspected.
