Description

The Pilot beacon is a tall navigation marker, approximately 10 meters high and 5.5 meters wide. It is constructed of mortared rubble masonry, with the front face that was once heavily limewashed. The structure features a raking slab that is angled slightly to the rear, supported by a raking buttress. This buttress has a rounded head, and the front face is topped with stone capping. The front face of the raking slab is aligned with two other beacons.
