Description

East Bridge in Mid Calder was built in 1794 and features two high segmental arches. The bridge is constructed from coursed rubble with rockfaced voussoirs. The spandrel is pierced by an oculus, and there are cut-waters at the pier. Long approach walls extend from the arches.
