Description
Coodham House, built around 1831 and formerly known as Williamfield, is a classical mansion set within walled grounds. The house is constructed of pink ashlar and features three storeys plus a basement with an area. The facade includes a symmetrical arrangement of sash windows, with a slight projection at the center. The tall windows on the ground floor are pedimented, while those above have flat entablatures. A Doric columned porte-cochere adds to the entrance, and there is a balustraded parapet concealing the roof. A long, low wing extends from the side of the house, which originally housed a winter garden. At the rear of the property, there is a chapel.
