8 Patna Road, Kirkmichael

This is a late 18th and early 19th century, single-story, four-bay house. It is accompanied by two former cottages, now used as garages, situated on its eastern side. The easternmost garage is part of the property belonging to Mrs. Gillette, located in Straiten Street. The house itself is constructed from painted rubble with flush margins. A door is centrally positioned on the left-hand side. The eastern three bays have straight skews, with flashing visible where they meet the Kirkmichael Arms. The roof is covered in slate. The two eastern garages are included in the listing as contributing to the group value.
