Description

Alton Albany is an early Victorian house of two storeys, built in a simple classical style beside the River Stincher. The exterior is white rendered, with black quoins outlining the corners and black window margins. The roof is slate. The west front features a tall gabled bay window with tripartite sash windows. To the right are three windows with lying-pane glazing, and a tripartite sash window at ground floor level. A large, two-bay porch with round-arched openings projects from the front. Rear extensions have been added to the property.
