Description

Dawyck House is an Elizabethan style mansion built between 1832 and 1837 for Sir John Murray Naysmyth, the 4th baronet, based on designs by architect William Burn. The house features significant later Baronial extensions added by the late Mrs. Alexander Balfour, who was the grandmother of the current owner. The architect for these extensions was John Archibald Campbell from Glasgow.
