Description
The South Eastern Stable Range at Formakin House is a three-storey and attic bothy designed in a severe Scots style, built around 1912 to 1914 by architect Sir Robert Lorimer. It features an octagonal stair tower topped with an ogee roof. The building is constructed from rubble, and the date stone marked "1694 D.L." is intended as a joke.
