Description

Kenmore Bridge, built in 1774, was designed by architect John Baxter, possibly in collaboration with Smeaton, as it closely resembles his work. The bridge features seven arches: three main segmental arches with triple keystones, spandrels that are pierced by circles, and two semi-circular arches at the wide approaches, along with two small land arches beyond. It is constructed of harled rubble with ashlar dressings.
