Description

The Old Post Office in Meikleour is a single-storey domestic building constructed from rubble and covered with a slated roof. It is designed in a picturesque cottage style and dates from around 1820 to 1830. In 2006, it was re-categorised from grade B to grade C(S) due to its group interest. The listing applies to both the interior and exterior of the building, as is appropriate for its type.
