Description

Low's Work Weir, located on the River Almond in Almondbank, is a medieval structure that was rebuilt between 1622 and 1624. It measures 80 yards in length and is constructed from unmortared boulder rubble with ashlar groins. The weir was designed to divert water into the King's Lade, which flows through Perth.
