Description
Maule House, located on Auchterarder Road in Dunning, is a large early 19th-century three-storey corner building that includes the Dunning Hotel. The hotel features a three-window stuccoed façade facing Station Road, while the Station Road side has three windows and the Auchterarder Road side has two. The building is constructed from rubble with margins, and Maule House itself has a four-window arrangement, with the center two windows featuring narrow gothic heads on the first floor, and a modern bull-faced stucco finish. The roof is piended at the angle. The building was re-categorised from grade B to grade C(S) in 2006, reflecting its group interest. The listing applies to both the interior and exterior of the building as appropriate.
