St Andrew's Burial-Ground, Hall Of Tankerness

The Baikie Mausoleum, located in St Andrew's Burial-Ground at Hall of Tankerness, is possibly from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with later additions. This small, single-storey burial vault has a rectangular plan and is situated to the southwest of the hall within a rectangular walled burial ground.

The vault is constructed of coursed rubble and features a doorway with an iron gate on the west gable, along with a later heraldic panel above the gablehead. The roof is slightly curved and pitched, covered with graded flagstone.

Inside, there are mural tablets dated 1947 and 1950.

The burial ground itself is roughly rectangular and enclosed by rubble walls. It includes a stone flight of steps leading to the east wall, which has replacement iron gates. Additionally, there is a single-storey, rectangular-plan store with crowstep gables forming the northeast angle of the burial ground. This store is harl-pointed and has a stone-tiled roof.
