Description

Carrick House in Eday is a traditional building from the early 17th century, standing 2 and a half storeys tall and finished with harled walls. It features corbic steps and a slated roof. On the east side, there is a court with a round arch in the north wall, which is dated 1633 in the keystone. Above this arch is an armorial panel inscribed with 'A.B./M.B. 1662'. Beyond the court, there is a walled garden. The house also has several additions and offices at its southern end.
