Description
The East Service Wing of the Parish Manse in Applecross is a building dating from 1796, with repairs and additions made by Alexander Ross in 1857-58. It is a tall, two-storey house with an attic and features three bays. The exterior is harled, and there are two single-storey, wide, three-bay rubble service buildings that flank the manse, creating a front U-plan courtyard. The central door of the manse is obscured by a later gabled projecting porch that includes a side entrance. The ground floor has later enlarged tripartite windows, and there are three later piended dormers that rise through the wallhead. The windows have multi-pane glazing, and the building has end stacks and slate roofs.
