Description

Tigh An Fhaing is a large, two-storey and attic house dating from the mid to late 19th century. It has a three-bay facade with a central door set within a gabled porch supported by slender, fluted cast-iron columns. The walls are constructed of coursed red rubble with harled flanks. The roof is slate-covered, and it features two gabled dormers topped with cast-iron finials. The windows contain four-pane glazing and panelled shutters. There are end stacks. A wing extends to the rear. The property is further distinguished by ornate cast-iron railings, which are supported by a harled retaining wall.
